About The Position
Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS in Long Beach, NY. Locations & Shifts: Old Westbury: Monday - Friday 1000 -1800 Payrate: $19.00/hr. Roslyn: Thursday, Friday 1700 - 2300 & Saturday, Sunday 1300 - 2100 Payrate: $18.50/hr. Long Beach: Wednesday- Sunday 1600 - 0000 Payrate: $17.00/hr.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
- Valid NYS Security Guard License.
- Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
- Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
Responsibilities
- Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
