About The Position

Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS in Suffolk County, NY. Locations & Shifts: Brookhaven: Saturday & Sunday 0700-1500 Payrate: $19.00/hr. Brookhaven: Tuesday - Saturday 0700 - 1500 Payrate: $19.00/hr. Brookhaven: Saturday & Sunday 0700-1500 Payrate: $19.00/hr. Brookhaven: Monday - Thursday & Saturday 1500 - 0700 Payrate: $19.00/hr.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
