Job Description As a Unarmed Security Officer - Tech Site in Chandler, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor guidance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to issues with professionalism. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a technology and data center location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors, maintaining a professional presence and directing individuals to proper check-in processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, suspicious activity, and medical or weather-related events, and notify appropriate contacts as directed by post orders.
• Complete shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts during shift transitions.
