About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Tech Site in Olympia, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a leading technology, media, or telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. You will remain visible throughout your shift, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication, all while embracing Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and/or daily activities as required by the site.
