Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Communicate and collaborate with staff, visitors, and/or patients as appropriate to address security-related concerns while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Complete required reports and logs accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
- Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and location management.
