Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage lobby and entry points, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, and support visitor logs and basic incident documentation. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with site teams, and use a computer and/or tablet for daily tasks. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.
Requirements
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, managing sign-in logs, and coordinating with site contacts for visitor authorization.
- Monitor entry points, alarms, and/or video systems as assigned, reporting irregular activity and documenting events according to site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including doors, loading areas, and perimeter spaces, with working conditions varying by site.
