Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will report concerns, communicate clearly with teams, and deliver customer-focused service to employees and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, lobbies, corridors, production or lab spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
Control access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points, checking credentials, and directing visitors and vendors according to site procedures.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems and report observed issues to the appropriate contacts.
Complete daily activity logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate shift handoffs to oncoming personnel.
Support security-related procedures common to technology and telecom locations, such as monitoring restricted areas, protecting confidential workspaces, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
Provide assistance to employees, contractors, and guests with directions, escorts when requested, and general service needs consistent with site policy.
