About The Position
Ultrasound Technologist (RVT or RVS) - Vascular Lab - Sharp Grossmont Hospital - Variable Shift - Per Diem (8 hour shifts) Hours : Shift Start Time: Variable Shift End Time: Variable AWS Hours Requirement: 8/40 - 8 Hour Shift Additional Shift Information: Cover at minimum one Saturday overnight shift Weekend Requirements: As Needed On-Call Required: Yes Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum): $58.920 - $76.030 - $85.150 This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with SEIU-UHW. As part of the terms of employment, employees in this role are required to join the union within 31 days of hire and remain a member (e.g. dues paying, fee paying, religious exception contributor) for the duration of the collective bargaining agreement. What You Will Do To perform a wide variety of technical procedures with quality patient care, assisting Physicians as needed.
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of formal training program in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements of an appropriate State and/or Federal mandated certification or equivalent.
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
