Ultrasound offers services that use high-frequency sound waves to examine tissues and organs inside the body, helping to diagnose various conditions, including cancer. Responsibilities Perform routine diagnostic ultrasound procedures per physician orders and department protocols Ensure high-quality images and proper documentation for radiologist interpretation Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions and support Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times Accurately enter and manage patient data within EMR/PACS systems Follow established imaging protocols and escalate any concerns as needed Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement processes Collaborate with team members to support efficient workflow Guide and help train new Ultrasound Technologists and handle communications between Leadership and Technologists
