Job Description: Ultrasound Technologist General/Breast- Float Location: Manhattan and Brooklyn, NY Hours: 5/8.5hr shifts Monday–Saturday (varied schedule) Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent)
- RVT and/or ARDMS certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- RDMS (Breast) preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- RDCS/Echo experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, including breast imaging (screening, diagnostic, and procedures)
- Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation
- Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases
- Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
