About The Position

Life Scan is a nationally recognized medical practice that provides prevention-based screenings, physicals and fitness evaluations for Firefighters and Police Officers. As an Ultrasound Technician, you will help save the lives of those that work tirelessly each day to protect ours. Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available.

Requirements

• BLS Required
• General experience required
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Strong technical skills to include MS Office, Imaging software and EMR platforms
• Professionalism and compassion a MUST!
• Registry encouraged
• Have own vehicle that can hold and carry needed equipment
• THIS POSITION REQUIRES REGULAR REGIONAL TRAVEL AS WELL AS NATIONAL TRAVEL ON OCCASION TO DESIGNATED FIRE/POLICE DEPARTMENT LOCATIONS

Nice To Haves

• vascular experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Scanning organs for early detection of cancer and other medical issues
• Will cross-train for Echo as needed
• Keep up with pending charts and properly export images per policy
• Other duties as assigned
