About The Position

The UI/UX Website Design & Support role is a key member of the Lakefield Veterinary Group Marketing Team based out of Kent, WA and is responsible for the day-to-day management, optimization, and ongoing support of 85+ hospital websites across our veterinary hospital network. This role reports to our Sr. Marketing Manager and works alongside our Digital Marketing team. This role partners closely with our external Digital Agency to ensure our websites are updated, compliant, high-performing, and aligned to business goals such as increasing traffic, improving conversion, and driving new client growth. This individual will serve as the internal owner of our website ecosystem—balancing design, user experience, SEO content, analytics, and vendor management to deliver consistent, modern digital experiences across all locations. This role works cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and external agency partners and requires coordination with hospital leaders and local teams to gather inputs, approve changes, and ensure accuracy. Work Location: Hybrid Model / Kent, WA Office (3 days a week - Relocation required)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in website management, UI/UX support, or digital marketing operations
  • HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Experience managing WordPress websites (multi-site experience strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with page builders (preferably Elementor)
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices (on-page optimization, metadata, keyword strategy, internal linking) and SEO tools such as SEMRush or equivalent
  • Experience with analytics and tracking tools (GA4 + GTM)
  • Experience working with external vendors/agencies and managing deliverables
  • Strong ownership mentality and comfort managing a large volume of websites
  • Organized and process-driven with excellent follow-through
  • Ability to translate business needs into website requirements and actions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across internal teams and external partners
  • Detail-oriented with high quality standards (client-facing accuracy matters)
  • Comfortable balancing daily support work with longer-term optimization initiatives, delegating across vendors, and holding vendors accountable

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting multi-location businesses (healthcare, retail, services, franchise, etc.)
  • Familiarity with ADA compliance requirements for websites
  • Experience with SEMRush or comparable SEO platforms
  • Experience with MainWP, Elementor, or comparable platforms
  • Strong project management ability (multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and priorities)

Responsibilities

  • Website Program Ownership (85+ Sites)
  • Oversee website updates, enhancements, and optimization across all hospital sites
  • Work with hospital teams to ensure websites are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned to brand and hospital needs (hours, services, providers, location details, etc.)
  • Identify high-impact UI/UX opportunities to improve client experience, navigation, conversion and work with website vendor to implement.
  • Digital Agency & Vendor Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for our Digital Agency supporting:
  • Website hosting
  • WordPress support and licensing
  • General website updates and change requests
  • ADA compliance needs
  • Website redesigns and refreshes
  • Schedule and lead monthly vendor meetings (digital agency, SEO) to review performance, service delivery, and relationship health
  • Monitor vendor responsiveness, quality, and SLA adherence
  • Hold vendor accountable to timelines, deliverables, and scope
  • Website Redesign & Refresh Project Management
  • Project manage website redesigns and refresh initiatives across locations holding digital agency to timelines and deliverables
  • Manage requirements gathering, timelines, stakeholder approvals, and QA processes
  • Ensure design consistency and best practices while accommodating hospital-specific needs
  • Validate deliverables and ensure launches meet functional, brand, UX, and compliance standards
  • Website Support Tickets & Budget Management
  • Track and analyze website support ticket volume and trends from hospitals
  • Identify recurring request types and recommend process improvements or self-service opportunities
  • Forecast and manage annual website support budgets based on ticket trends and vendor usage
  • Develop reporting to ensure leadership visibility into website support demand and costs
  • Tool & Platform Management
  • Manage access, configuration, and usage of:
  • MainWP
  • Elementor
  • SEMRush
  • Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Maintain clean account structure, user access, and process documentation
  • Ongoing Optimization & Growth Initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement to increase website traffic, engagement, and conversion through:
  • SEO keyword enhancements
  • Copy and content improvements
  • Technical/structural site optimization
  • Journey Mapping and Pricing transparency initiatives (clear expectations, service context, financing messaging)
  • Promotional campaign deployment (seasonal messaging, service highlights, CTAs)
  • Landing page development to support Google Ads and other campaign efforts
  • Create and deploy SEO blog posts across hospital websites using MainWP
  • Collaborate with internal marketing partners to align website updates with campaigns and brand priorities
  • Measurement, Tracking & Performance Reporting
  • Ensure accurate tracking of key website events and conversion actions (calls, booking clicks, form submissions, etc.)
  • Support reporting around:
  • Traffic trends and channel attribution
  • Conversion performance and optimization opportunities
  • SEO performance improvements and content impact
  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to prioritize website initiatives based on performance data
