Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Program Manager to help lead UAT projects, develop plans and test strategies for business and functional systems, software, applications, products, and/or processes to ensure performance as designed. This position may also perform hands-on UAT at times. Location: on-site position at our Meridian, Idaho campus. Hybrid flexibility may be allowed after training (3 in office/2 at home). Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree IT, Operations, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college. If no completed degree, applicant must have 13/+ years relevant experience) Required Experience: 5/+ years’ quality assurance, UAT or relevant experience, within healthcare environment(s). Experience should span: Ability to manage UAT processes with indirect oversight (gather status, summarize and report) Strong validation skills Ability to scrutinize and synthesize test results Communication and presentation skills, specifically sharing UAT results at leader-level(s) Leadership (direct or indirect) SQL skills are strongly preferred Your day may look like: Manages the development of user acceptance test approaches and documentation. Creates and manages plans for each UAT event, with end-to-end oversight. Develops and maintains test cases and details. Defines the UAT structure for developing, organizing, and maintaining test cases. Reviews and approves all test deliverables and design specifications. Indirectly oversees resources assigned to user acceptance testing, or test cases. Plans UAT, test case specifications, test executions, defect management, test status reporting. Improves user acceptance testing of system releases for high end quality results. Supports key business partners and business units in the design, testing, and implementation of applications that support the various business needs. Responsible for determining acceptance criteria for systems, software, applications, products, and/or processes. Collects, analyzes, and reports on quality metrics. Provides training on UAT processes and associated tools. Attends and represents at UAT-related project meetings. Shares and presents UAT results up, down, across the organization. As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is $96,183 to $144,275. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance). The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, travel requirements, internal equity, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data.
