Drive initiatives to reduce total warranty costs Fixed Brake Engineering with significant year-over-year reductions. Oversee projects aimed at enhancing long-term durability and reliability, including achieving 15% improvement in B10 Life demonstrated. Support efforts to reduce the volume of units affected by recall by 40% from CY2025 in CY2026 for MY2026/27 vehicles. Utilize and promote problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) to resolve priority cases within 120 days, addressing root causes and implementing sustainable solutions. Identify and implement AI-related cost efficiencies, contributing to overall cost reduction strategies. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field, Masters Preferred. Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within a manufacturing, automotive, or engineering environment. Demonstrated success in leading quality improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results in areas such as warranty reduction, durability, and initial quality. Strong background in cost management and optimization, with experience in identifying and implementing cost-saving measures. Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) and their application to complex technical issues. Experience with project management and the ability to drive on-time execution of critical programs and initiatives. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to proactively identify and address technical challenges, including specific experience or understanding of Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) principles, especially related to braking systems.
