Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical models. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning teams to align demand forecasts with business strategies and promotional activities. Analyze demand variability, forecast accuracy, and bias; continuously monitor forecast performance and recommend improvements. Translate demand forecasts into actionable inputs for supply planning, production planning, and inventory management. Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to ensure cross-functional alignment. Identify risks and opportunities related to demand changes and proactively communicate insights to stakeholders. Manage and update demand planning systems and tools (e.g., ERP, APS, forecasting software). Support new product launches, phase-in/phase-out planning, and lifecycle management. Prepare regular reports and dashboards on demand trends, forecast accuracy, and key KPIs.
