About The Position

Student Support Assistants help teachers run a fun, safe, and productive environment. You’ll work with younger students to support academic learning, model positive behavior, and help create a welcoming environment. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in leadership, education, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support elementary students with homework, reading, math, and learning activities
• Help supervise students during snack time, transitions, and activities
• Model positive behavior, responsibility, and kindness
• Assist teachers with setting up and cleaning up activities
• Encourage students to stay engaged, focused, and safe
• Build positive relationships with students and staff
• Step in to help wherever needed to keep the program running smoothly
