Tutor Coordinator (Full-Time)
About The Position
We are seeking a Tutor Coordinator who thrives at the intersection of teaching, organization, and client communication. This is a full-time role for an experienced educator who enjoys working directly with high school students and keeping the day-to-day tutoring operation running smoothly. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable tutoring a student for tomorrow’s exam and following up with a parent, confirming schedules, and ensuring tutors and clients are aligned. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Education, subject-matter specialty, or related field preferred)
- Prior experience tutoring or teaching high school students
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, warm, and confident communication style with parents and students
- Comfort using scheduling tools, CRMs, and digital platforms
Nice To Haves
- Teaching certification or classroom experience
- Experience coordinating schedules or managing operations in an educational setting
- Familiarity with high school curriculum, standardized testing, or college prep
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing follow-through
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 tutoring for high school students (subject areas based on expertise)
- Support students with study skills, time management, test prep, and academic confidence
- Track student progress and share clear updates with families
- Collaborate with families to adjust academic plans as needs evolve
- Coordinate tutor schedules, student assignments, and session logistics
- Serve as a primary point of contact for tutoring families, ensuring timely and professional communication
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, notes, and progress in internal systems
- Assist with onboarding and supporting part-time tutors
- Help refine processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and client experience
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding scheduling, progress, and next steps
- Proactively anticipate needs and resolve issues before they escalate
- Ensure families feel supported, informed, and confident in the tutoring program
