About The Position

The Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views. To provide turndown services of guest rooms, and any additional duties as assigned in accordance with Omni standards.

Requirements

  • Able to maintain a 4- diamond level of service.
  • Able to work with Management on special projects.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively (must be able to answer basic questions about services and amenities, give directions to guests).
  • Ability to push and pull housekeeping supply cart.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Requires repetitive motion of arms and hands.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to all guest requests appropriately.
  • Always greet our guests warmly with a smile, call them by name whenever possible.
  • Responsible to provide turndown services for assigned number of guest rooms.
  • Responsible for providing additional amenities and housekeeping services for our VIP guests.
  • Perform all the functions of a Room Attendant and Housekeeping Houseperson as needed and warmly greet all of our guests.
  • To provide full servicing of guest rooms upon request.
  • Offer assistance and information to our guests.
  • Removes room service trays from guest rooms.
  • Assist with public areas when needed
  • Responsible for restocking caddies, linen, refilling chemical bottles for Guest Room Attendants.
  • Keep all housekeeping and linen areas clean and tidy.
