About The Position

Under general supervision, the tugger is responsible for transporting merchandise at the floor level from one location to another using a Tugger machine while abiding by all safety guidelines.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs
Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Positive attitude when working with customers
Knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures

Responsibilities

Using tugger machine to transport merchandise from one location to another throughout the warehouse
Tugger’s operate at the ground level
The tugger operator will scan merchandise as it is being connected/disconnected to their tugger for proper tracking and inventory control
Knowledge of tugger procedures
Responsible for maintaining excellent customer service
Respond to instructions sent to scan gun in regards to proper merchandise to pull
Keep warehouse area clean
Assist other departments in the warehouse as needed
Transfer materials as needed
Maintain aisle(s)/departments as assigned by manager
Put merchandise away properly
Check daily closing assignments and responsibilities
Any other duties as directed by management
