About The Position

The Production Operator plays a key role in driving quality and efficiency on the production floor. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to lead by example. This hands-on role will perform essential assembly duties while ensuring strict compliance with instructions and our quality management system standards. The ideal candidate will follow detailed assembly specifications and proactively collaborate with production, engineering, and other teams to refine products and continuously improve processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience within assembly/production or related work experience.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a clean & organized environment.
  • Computer skills with the ability to navigate their way through the computer to enter data, review documents, check email, employee center, and announcements.
  • Excellent hand dexterity and coordination is a must as the position requires repeated reaching, bending, twisting, squatting, assembling and standing for long periods of time throughout the entire shift.
  • Excellent eyesight for attention to detail and safety awareness is a must.
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing precision tools & equipment.
  • Requires on-going lifting and moving of materials.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate to team members, engineering and quality personnel.
  • Ability to learn other skills as the need arises.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to be flexible in changing situations.
  • Ability to be collaborative and work with the team to meet Company goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience in a clean room environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and assemble parts.
  • Build parts in line with company expectations.
  • Will use simple hand and machine tools.
  • Accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to meet production specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate daily production activities and assign tasks to operators to meet production goals.
  • Safely operate machines and production equipment, following instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area along with equipment and materials.
  • Run, monitor and ensures parts flow through the automated machines properly
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize rejects.
  • Ensure adherence to quality product standards, minimizing defects.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis and meet company deadlines to adhere to production schedules.
  • Comply with relevant elements of quality systems.
  • Inspector output quality and address faulty products promptly.
  • Participate in audits to ensure compliance.
  • Follow test procedures according to company standards.
  • Assist with inventory management and material movement.
  • Verify arriving materials against purchase orders.
  • Ensure proper flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas per guidelines.
  • Report work progress, updates, and quality issues to the lead or supervisor.
  • Adhere to AMDI rules and regulations, including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance, and Human Resources.
  • Will perform other assigned tasks possibly with other functions/department as the need arise.
