About The Position

SCOPE: Under the direction of the supervisor, workers perform production, maintenance or janitorial duties as assigned to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, yield and Cost goals. Each operator is responsible for and has the necessary authority to ensure quality, including stopping production to correct quality non-conformance. JOB DESCRIPTION: To feed material into the Tube Reducer. Operate the Tube Reducer in an efficient manner. To be attentive at all times observing the feeding and discharging of material to prevent any jam-ups. Change mandrels as required. Follow all quality procedures. Inspect equipment frequently so as to prevent any damage to the Tube reducer. Inspect the coolant solution and Farval grease levels frequently. Inspect lubrication lines for leaks and/or damages. Report all malfunction and/or damage to the supervisor. Follow all safety procedures. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Supply material for 601 Block and Hi Fin raw stock.
  • To load reducer – maintain exit and feed chuck assemblies.
  • To feed material into the Tube Reducer.
  • Operate the Tube Reducer in an efficient manner.
