Requirements

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including scheduled and unscheduled holidays, overtime and weekends.
  • Experience working in a tube mill area/ department.
  • Proven commitment to safety.
  • Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to work standing or walking for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes of priority and complete job tasks safely and effectively without constant supervision.
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual - Engilsh & Spanish speaking, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
  • Physically handling and removing material from the tubing machine and stacking it.
  • Cleaning and scraping metal preparatory to punch tubing machine.
  • General labor duties that may include but are not limited to sweeping, shoveling, and general clean-up of any area and/or equipment.
  • Keep grounds clear of debris while maintaining safety standards.
  • Willing to cross-train in other positions and assist other employees as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned and modifiable work responsibilities.
  • demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
