About The Position
The Tube Mill Operator performs work associated with the operation of assigned mechanical equipment in a steel tube manufacturing environment. Details 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday with voluntary overtime on Fridays! Pay rate of $19.50 This is a Temp to hire position, once hired on full time the client offers excellent benefits including a 401K, Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Short and Long Term Disability, paid vacation time, and a $75 safety shoe reimbursement. Requirements
- Must be able to perform general math (Addition, subtraction, multiplication, divisions, fractions, and decimal points)
- Must be able to read a measuring tape
- Must have HS diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a tube mill setting a plus
Responsibilities
- Run assigned mechanical equipment
- Works with the operators monitoring, measuring, and inspecting product
- Completes all applicable paperwork
- Operate buffers, polishers, and saws
- Feed, box, and inspect tube as it exits the machine
