About The Position

Summary: Responsible for operating fabrication machinery with some assembly and handwork.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Set up and operate machines including saws, lasers, tube benders, and CNC.
Continuous improvements relating to learning more machines.
Load and unload parts into machines manually or by means of mechanical lifting devices.
Responsible for packing, stacking on skids and counting parts.
Tags finished parts as ready to ship.
Follow strict process inspection procedures.
Process all necessary documentation and paperwork for processes completed.
Perform routine maintenance and some troubleshooting when necessary.
Follow and comply with all safety regulations, work rules, and maintain clean and orderly work area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, one to three years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of both preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with other employees of the organization.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to critically think and solve problems.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as work orders and blueprints.
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
