JOB TITLE: Tube Line Packer DEPARTMENT: Tube Line REPORTS TO: Area Manager, Tube Line POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for packing tubes into packaging according to customer specifications JOB SPECIFIC TASKS: Assemble boxes, have knowledge of quality issues and how to place tubes in the appropriate boxes, and walk tubes from extruder to take-off Read and follow work instructions Assist other team members as needed Must be able to stand and work at rapid pace for extended periods of time Basic computer inputting capabilities for Quality purposes Perform other duties or tasks that may be assigned JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must be able to differentiate quality issues on tubes using vision and touch and pack tubes into packaging efficiently. EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read, write and do basic math. CONTACT WITH OTHERS: Communicate with co-workers throughout the shift as needed.
