About The Position

Our client in Taylor is searching for an experienced Tube Bender Operator (CNC). This opportunity is on 2nd shift (3p-11p), Monday-Friday with possible overtime $30-$32 per hour. The essential functions of the job include: Operating machinery and equipment as directed Interpreting blueprints; setting up and operating manual and CNC bending machines Verifying conformance of work piece to specifications Recognizing typical problems in parts and equipment when they occur Performing tool changeover and adjustments Cleaning and other general shop tasks Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned. Skills required to carry out the essential functions include the ability to: Learn and master new skills Understand and follow directions and rules Safely and effectively operate various machinery and equipment Produce (quality and quantity) parts that meet specifications and expected output levels Visually identify and correct deficiencies in parts produced Interact appropriately and collaborate with fellow employees and management Communicate effectively (written and oral) with other WEI employees and management Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the flexibility to prioritize duties and multi-task at different levels Equipment operated as part of the essential functions: (includes but is not limited to) CNC bending machines, forklift truck, telephone, computer and related technology.
