About The Position

McGill Hose & Coupling is seeking a CNC Production Fabricator to operate and support our CNC tube bending and fabrication equipment. This is a hands-on, shop-floor role focused on running CNC machines, performing tube bending, assisting with setups, and supporting daily production needs. The ideal candidate has experience working directly with CNC equipment, understands fabrication processes, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality parts. This role does not require an engineering background or advanced programming skills. We are looking for a reliable, mechanically skilled operator who can run machines, follow specifications, and support production efficiently and safely.

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of CNC machine operation or fabrication experience (preferred)
  • Experience with tube bending,fabrication, or metal forming preferred
  • Comfortable working hands-on with machinery and tools
  • Ability to follow work instructions and specifications
  • Basic blueprint reading skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • CNC machine operation
  • Tube bending & fabrication
  • Mechanical troubleshooting
  • Attention to detail

  • Time management
  • Safety awareness
  • Manual dexterity
  • Manufacturing and customer environments
  • Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC tube bending and fabrication machines
  • Load, unload, and run production jobs accurately
  • Assist with machine setups and tooling changes
  • Perform basic adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Read and follow work instructions and job travelers
  • Perform tube bending and light fabrication tasks
  • Inspect parts for quality and dimensional accuracy
  • Report issues with machines, tooling, or materials
  • Work with supervisors and leads to meet production goals
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Support continuous improvement and efficiency efforts
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures
  • Perform other shop-related duties as needed
