This role primarily focuses on data entry, managing FMLA and leave-related documentation, and supporting various HR processes. Requirements

  • 1 2 years of HR experience or administrative work in a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (must be comfortable with pivot tables and v-lookups)
  • Solid customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Familiarity with FMLA and multi-state leave laws is strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage FMLA paperwork
  • Track leave cases and maintain accurate records in Dayforce, JJ Keller FMLA Manager, and shared drives
  • Track and manage parental leave pay and provide backup support for FMLA and other leave-of-absence tasks
  • Support the workers compensation process, including tracking claims and follow-ups
  • Assist with onboarding tasks such as background checks, new hire documentation, and employee file audits
  • Support benefits administration for new hires and terminations (core and supplemental plans)
  • Assist with employment verifications, service award tracking, and applicant tracking logs
  • Upload unemployment claim documentation into Dayforce and track progress
  • Support payroll functions including PTO tracking and payroll check register handling
  • Provide general administrative support across the HR department as needed
