About The Position

The Trustee Sale Officer for Title Curative & Post Sale is responsible for title curative processes during the non-judicial foreclosure and post-sale processes with an emphasis on title curative work across the states of operation. This role requires deep knowledge of lien priority, title reports, and title defect resolution. The position ensures compliance with state and local laws, investor/insurer guidelines, and supports both pre-sale and post-sale functions including coordinating evictions to network law firms.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in non-judicial foreclosure, with 2+ years in title curative/title report review.
  • Demonstrated experience working with GA, MS, MO, TN, and TX foreclosure and title laws is preferred.
  • Case management experience in Tempo
  • Strong ability to read and interpret title reports, determine lien priority, and identify curative issues.
  • Working knowledge of foreclosure documentation, timelines, and state requirements.
  • Experience with client systems such as Tempo, Black Knight, or similar CMS tools.
  • Proficiency with legal documentation for foreclosure and curative processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to provide guidance across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with VA/HUD conveyance processes.
  • Prior trustee sale officer or foreclosure operations background strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review title reports to determine lien priority and assess impact on title and foreclosure process.
  • Identify and cure title defects pre- and post-foreclosure to ensure marketable title.
  • Communicate directly with title companies, attorneys, and internal staff to resolve title issues.
  • Monitor and resolve title issues and ensure timely resolution of curative items.
  • Update daily worklist as it pertains to pre-sale and post-sale title curative, along with post-sale processes which include evictions monitoring in all assigned states.
  • Update internal case management system with comments and status.
  • Complete daily worklists in all client and internal case management systems.
  • Ensure assigned daily tasks are completed in line with client SLAs and compliance guidelines.
  • Report daily task completion and risk issues to manager.
  • Provide outside counsel with required documentation to process evictions in all assigned states.
  • Comply with all escalation procedures.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
