About The Position

The Trust Operations Specialist supports the efficient and accurate processing of trust securities activities within the Trust Services department. This role ensures timely administration and delivery of securities-related tasks including asset valuation, transfers, reporting, and reconciliations. The position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of trust records and ensuring a seamless trust securities experience for clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in business, finance, or related field.
1+ years of relevant experience in trust operations, securities processing, or financial services.
Knowledge of trust securities, including cost basis and asset valuation.

Responsibilities

Create and analyze various statements and reports related to trust securities.
Handle dividend processing and client disbursements, as applicable.
Establish cost basis for securities held in trust accounts.
Determine market values and accruals for assets when required.
Monitor and follow up on unsettled transactions with internal departments, brokers, banks, and transfer agents.
Coordinate and execute the delivery and transfer of trust securities.
Research and validate asset data, ensuring accuracy when incomplete or conflicting information is provided.
Maintain complete and organized documentation of all trust securities activities.
Review and verify all securities trades and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
