Designer II is responsible for the accurate design of the roof and floor trusses, walls, and components for single-family, multi-family, and commercial projects. Requirements
- Minimum high school graduate
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in related field/responsibilities
- Working knowledge of floor and rood systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangars
Nice To Haves
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent
- Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software are preferred
Responsibilities
- Design metal plate-connected wood trusses and Wall Panels utilizing Mitek software
- Optimize designs for maximum efficiency
- Review orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy
- Assist sales and production with design service and troubleshooting
- Performs other duties as required
