Truss Assembler
About The Position
Responsibilities: - Assemble truss components. - Stock lumber, plates and other work-related materials and supplies. - Band/stack finished products. - Layout truss supplies and materials on carts or floor and stock plates for component setup. - Assemble components under the direction of the line leaders. - Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets inside and/or outside. - Read shop drawings to identify plate sizes, plate gauges, girder truss nailing and bolt patterns. - Read shop drawings to understand stacking order when required. - Operate all equipment necessary to the assembly process. - Comply with company’s attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent work experience required - Prior carpentry experience preferred - Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer - Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns If you possess the skills we are looking for and ready to make a positive impact, apply NOW!
