About The Position

Famous Supply is looking for a True Partner Solutions Implementation Specialist to join our operations team. This role is responsible for setting up and supporting Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs at customer locations. The Implementation Specialist is a dependable, self-motivated professional who thrives in warehouse environments, enjoys working with customers, and can travel frequently to support new site setups.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience
  • Warehouse experience, including material handling and organizing
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally or nationally as needed
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in warehouse environments
  • Flexibility to travel heavily (up to 100% during new site implementations)

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain
  • Distribution and/or wholesale experience
  • HVAC, plumbing, or building products knowledge
  • Experience with RF scanners or ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead the physical setup of new VMI sites, including space planning, bin labeling, product stocking, and material organization.
  • Work hands-on in warehouse environments to ensure inventory is accurately placed, counted, and documented.
  • Partner with internal teams to coordinate infrastructure setup and initial deliveries for new locations.
  • Provide on-site training and support for customers and branch associates on VMI ordering and operations.
  • Serve as a customer-facing representative, ensuring clear communication and a positive experience throughout the implementation process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues quickly to avoid delays in material availability.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from setup to daily operations by preparing sites for ongoing service.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs, including extended hours and periods of heavy travel.
  • Work independently in the field, taking ownership of tasks and delivering results with minimal supervision.
