About The Position

The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Truck Porter to join our dynamic team. The Truck Porter is responsible for maintaining and organizing the New and Used Truck Lots. This position ensures all company vehicles are cleaned and operate correctly after repairs. This position may at times transfer equipment to other TLG Dealerships.

Requirements

Must possess a high school diploma.
Must possess or obtain a Class A CDL.
Motor Vehicle Record must adhere to TLG MVR guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
A mechanical aptitude is recommended.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance.
Must be friendly and courteous to all customers.
Keep company vehicles clean, properly maintained and prepped for delivery.
Operate equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Complete required DOT and company related paperwork.
Ensures all trucks start and move on a weekly basis.
Transports trucks as needed to fuel or deliver to customers.
Ensures that trucks have sufficient fuel for test drives. Installs TLG mud flaps on all trucks and performs minor repairs and other installations.
Ensures proper operation of all lights and air systems.
Notifies manager immediately of defects on trucks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, cleans shop area as directed.
Assist parts and service department as needed.
