About The Position

Edwards Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram at Village Pointe in Omaha, NE is looking for a Lot Porter/Wash truck operator. In this role, the porter's primary responsibilities will be charging new vehicle batteries and run the Wash Truck (spraying down vehicles in the lot).

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
• No prior experience or training is needed
• Willingness to be flexible and take direction
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Being a team player and contributing wherever needed is essential
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Punctual with strong attendance history

Responsibilities

• Keeps vehicle lots neat and orderly
• moving cars when needed while keeping in the display standards for the dealership
• Clean the interior and exterior of the vehicles, including the trunk, glove compartment, tires, windows, etc.
• Picks up and drive vehicles to the customers as directed by management
• Start vehicles, keep vehicles fueled, and report any problems or concerns to management
• Pick up parts from the parts department
• Install required forms/stickers and license plates on vehicles
• Light janitorial work in shop and or showroom
