About The Position

1st Shift Wednesday - Saturday Schedule! Up to $30 per hour plus $2 per hour shift differential Hiring Bonus of up to $4500! Are you an experienced Light/Medium Duty Gas / Diesel Technician looking for a good new opportunity? Clarke Power, an industry leader, is currently looking for a Light/Medium Duty Truck Mechanic / Diesel Technician. Requirements

3+ years' experience
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card

Nice To Haves

Preferred – Diesel or Automotive Program Certificate or degree
Experience with some or all of the following engine platforms. Cummins, Power Stroke, Duramax, LS, Triton, and Godzilla
ASE Certifications a big plus.
State Inspector License also a big plus
CDL a plus
Company may assist with obtaining additional certificates / licenses

Responsibilities

Familiar with all aspects of light and medium duty chassis, suspension, HVAC, engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
Excellent diagnostic skills
Diagnose cause of non-conformance, identify corrective action necessary to correct non-conformance.
Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring.
Must be able to use computer diagnostics
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work independently
Implement and enforce Health and Safety legislations, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
