About The Position

The Truck Maintenance Supervisor provides direct leadership for technicians, managing workflow and assigning tasks. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop, coordinating and supervising all maintenance work and repairs, while monitoring progress and quality. Responsibilities include reviewing driver repairs and other maintenance requests, preparing work order documents, and performing mechanical duties as needed. The supervisor also monitors inventory of replacement parts, oversees personnel functions such as coaching, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary action, and provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions. Additionally, the supervisor interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations, and creates and submits necessary reports.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D. (accredited)
4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).

Responsibilities
