About The Position

The Truck Loader is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient loading of materials onto trucks for delivery. This position plays an essential role in supporting warehouse and distribution operations by ensuring that materials are verified prior to loading, properly handled, and secured for transport. The Truck Loader also operates forklifts and material-handling equipment as needed to move and position products. Forklift certification is not required — all training is provided in-house. The role requires strong attention to safety, accuracy, and workspace cleanliness, as well as the physical ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide supporting documentation upon hire
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs. and repetitive material handling
  • Willingness to participate in and successfully complete in-house forklift training (no prior certification required)
  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and accuracy in task execution
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to working in a drug- and alcohol-free workplace and adherence to all company policies

Responsibilities

  • Load materials onto trucks in a safe, accurate, and timely manner according to delivery schedules and load requirements
  • Inspect and verify all materials prior to loading to ensure correct quantities, product condition, and order accuracy
  • Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment to transport, stage, and position materials as trained and authorized
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace, including loading areas, staging zones, and surrounding work environments
  • Follow all company safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and warehouse operating policies at all times
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, drivers, supervisors, and team members to support coordinated loading operations
  • Lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs. as part of regular daily job duties
  • Assist with general warehouse duties or related tasks as needed to support operational needs
  • Perform any additional responsibilities or assignments as directed by a supervisor or manager
