About The Position

This is a full-time position responsible for monitoring daily traffic entering and leaving the Tyson facility, answering the phone and transferring calls, constant communication with plant management, truck drivers, vendors, customers, and Team Members as necessary. This position will be responsible for lot checks of trailers during their designated hours. This position is also responsible for visually verifying that arriving trailers are clean, no visible punctures, overall good condition and enforcing Tyson policy if needed. Must maintain detail records of iinbound/outbound and relay trailers and other required documentation. Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor. The Main Guard shack runs 4 shifts in order to have 24-hour coverage (1st, 2nd 3rd and Weekend) and shift assignment will be determined upon job offer.

Requirements

6 months experience preferred
Basic computer skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate under stressful situations
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Rehire Consideration 180 days (6 months) waiting period
Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire
