About The Position

Westerman, Inc., an employee owned company, is a multiple site manufacturer of production and storage equipment within the oil, gas, and nuclear industries. Our equipment helps optimize well pad design, improve separation efficiency and lower overall equipment spend through high-performance surface separation and processing technology. Our equipment is setting new standards for performance and economics nationwide. Summary The primary role for the Truck Driver / Material Handler is loading, unloading, and transporting materials and finished products safely to meet customer demand and meet on time delivery. This position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to perform the duties to the highest standard.

Requirements

Class A CDL Required
Must have a positive attitude and a desire to continually improve

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Heavy Hauling Logistics
Heavy Equipment Experience
Organization and attention to detail
Basic math skills
6 months of previous logistics experience
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic
Standard safety training

Responsibilities

Transports material throughout plant using proper equipment and/or crane for producing, finishing, packaging, or shipping the customer product.
Ensures departments are supplied with parts.
Moves and stages material as scheduled for optimum efficiency.
Provides Building support by transporting materials and ensuring lines are cleared of finished product.
Load finished product for shipment
Follows Packing Slips in order to match product with proper packaging and skidding
Performs miscellaneous tasks throughout plant to ensure safe, efficient and quality production of materials.
Transports Paperwork to Proper Location
General housekeeping duties throughout the plant’s yards.
Continued Communication and updates of schedule changes
Other duties as assigned.
