About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Truck Driver - 1st Shift at our Highland, IL facility! The core hours are Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be manadatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $24.87 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do: The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of materials to and from suppliers, vendors, and local customers. Primary duties include picking up steel coils, completing local deliveries within the Troy and Highland areas, and managing additional pickup or delivery tasks as assigned. This position operates Truck Unit 20 and utilizes trailers, tarps, and straps to properly secure all loads. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate delivery documentation, performing routine vehicle inspections, and adhering to all safety and compliance requirements. A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

Requirements

A current CDL - Class A
Successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
Participate in and comply with with DOT-regulated random drug testing requirements.
