To be effective, a Driver must establish an understanding of the objectives and accountabilities below. Basic Duties OBJECTIVES & ACCOUNTABILITIES (including, but not limited to): Deliver all equipment on a timely basis as promised to customers. 100% of late deliveries reported to dispatcher. 100% of units to be fueled, inspected for damage and tagged at time of return. 100% of management requests, special assignment or projects to be completed with in the specified time. Driver must maintain a safe driving record at all times. Department of Transportation (DOT) log book to be in 100% compliance. Drivers Daily Inspection Reports to be completed prior to first run every morning. 100% of suspected customer damage reported to on site coordinator immediately upon identification Digital pictures to be taken of all suspected customer damage. 100% of suspected damages to be documented on check-in sheet. Obtains customer signature on rental contract and damage inspection sheet at time of delivery Minimum 90% of all contracts and inspection sheets to have customer signature captured. Appearance Vehicle to be kept clean and in proper working order Must wear assigned uniform and keep clean Administrative: Interacts with dispatcher throughout the day to support ongoing change in demand for equipment. Makes final inspection of equipment before customer receives it, verifying inventory ID number, fuel level, and “rental ready” condition. Customer Relations: Provides familiarization training by giving customers start/stop and general safety operating instructions on rental equipment. Technical: Has good working knowledge of all rental equipment.
