Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Valid Michigan Driver’s License and excellent driving record
Valid Chauffer’s license
2-5 years of experience Driving 24’ or larger trucks with air brakes
Proficient in verbal and written communication
Hilo Driver Certificate or ability to obtain within short period of time

Responsibilities

Operate Company owned or rental vehicle to fulfill shipping, receiving, pick-up and re-location requirements of medical products and materials
Load and unload vehicle at various locations utilizing different types of Powered Industrial Trucks
Perform required before, during, and after operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports
Packaging and preparation of materials
Operation of various Powered Industrial Trucks, pallet jacks and other heavy equipment used in the execution of warehouse and Distribution Center operations
Provide professional and outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
Maintain proper and accurate driver logs according to regulations
Support the quality system including the quality manual, quality policy, and applicable procedures and work instructions
Attend proper safety training sessions as required and wear PPE in designated areas
Report any safety concerns of issues regarding Aspen property immediately
Maintain and display strong attendance habits by being present and on time
