Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Valid Michigan Driver’s License and excellent driving record
  • Valid Chauffer’s license
  • 2-5 years of experience Driving 24’ or larger trucks with air brakes
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication
  • Hilo Driver Certificate or ability to obtain within short period of time

Responsibilities

  • Operate Company owned or rental vehicle to fulfill shipping, receiving, pick-up and re-location requirements of medical products and materials
  • Load and unload vehicle at various locations utilizing different types of Powered Industrial Trucks
  • Perform required before, during, and after operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports
  • Packaging and preparation of materials
  • Operation of various Powered Industrial Trucks, pallet jacks and other heavy equipment used in the execution of warehouse and Distribution Center operations
  • Provide professional and outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
  • Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
  • Maintain proper and accurate driver logs according to regulations
  • Support the quality system including the quality manual, quality policy, and applicable procedures and work instructions
  • Attend proper safety training sessions as required and wear PPE in designated areas
  • Report any safety concerns of issues regarding Aspen property immediately
  • Maintain and display strong attendance habits by being present and on time
