About The Position

Crux Subsurface is seeking an experienced Truck Driver with equipment operation skills to join our team. This Spokane-based position primarily involves driving Class 8 trucks and supporting equipment operations. The basic operation of heavy equipment will be specific to loading and unloading. When not driving, you will assist with shop and yard activities, including fabrication and warehouse support. This position requires travel, which may include overnight stays, deadhead trips with flights home, and off-road/right-of-way hauling.

Requirements

Unrestricted Class A CDL with clean driving record required.
Basic operation of heavy equipment for loading and unloading.
Forklift operation.
Class 8 truck operation in varied conditions.
Daily inspection and maintenance of equipment (tractor/truck, trailer, forklift, and support equipment).

Nice To Haves

Heavy haul/over-dimension loads.
DOT inspection certification.
Lowboy/RGN trailer experience.
Crane certification.
Permitting knowledge.

Responsibilities

Operate Class 8 trucks in all weather conditions and terrain, including off highway.
Transport equipment and materials for projects, which may include: Deadhead trips with flights home. Periodic overnight stays. On-job trucking support. Local hauling and shuttling. Moving equipment on rights-of-way (off-road).
Assist with shop and yard labor, including: Cleaning and organizing shop and yard areas. Washing equipment. Light repair and maintenance. Organizing tools, consumables, and equipment. Supporting fabrication and machine shop with material processing (sawing, drilling, deburring).
And more as assigned to support project needs.
And more tasks as needed to support operations.
