About The Position

If you enjoy staying active, working with great equipment, and being a key part of a fast-moving operation, this role is for you. As a Yard Truck Driver, you’ll help keep our products moving safely and our customers satisfied. Safely load, unload, transport, and deliver products while following DOT and Prinsco safety standards. Perform daily inspections of forklifts, tractors, and trailers to ensure everything is ready for the road. Work closely with Dispatch to load the right products on the right trailers—accurately and on time. Verify product quality and paperwork, ensuring every load meets our standards. Keep the yard organized, trailers clean, and finished goods stored safely. Represent Prinsco with professionalism and a customer-first mindset at every stop. Maintain DOT logs and complete accurate delivery documentation. Speak up about safety concerns, equipment issues, or improvement opportunities. Support teammates, cross-train, and be part of a culture focused on continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, plus at least 1 year of interstate trucking experience.
  • A valid CDL, current medical card, and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass the Prinsco road test and meet all DOT and state driving requirements.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Ability to comfortably lift up to 25 lbs regularly, 50 lbs occasionally, and 75 lbs infrequently.
  • Ability to stay active throughout the day, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and reaching.
  • Good vision, depth perception, and color recognition to safely operate equipment and vehicles.
  • Comfort working in a manufacturing environment that may include varying temperatures, outdoor conditions, and elevated noise levels.

  • Forklift experience is a plus — or the willingness to become forklift certified.
