About The Position

The Truck Driver/ Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for hauling materials and equipment to and from job sites. Maintain Warehouse responsibilities at all times. Drivers may also be tasked with assisting the crews by offloading materials at various locations within a work site to increase job efficiency. This position supports the Line team and works with personnel within various departments. MasTec Utility Services delivers critical infrastructure construction and engineering services for power delivery, gas, and water customers, specializing in overhead and underground electric distribution for power delivery systems, gas distribution construction for gas systems, and turnkey solutions for a variety of water, sewer, and civil infrastructure projects. Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • CDL Class A license.
  • Clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 or more years of relevant driving experience.

Responsibilities

  • Haul equipment and materials to and from the job site as well as from pole to pole safely.
  • Perform all groundwork, preparing necessary materials for Linemen.
  • Prepare safe work zones with the use of signs, cones, etc.
  • Assist in the training of new truck drivers.
