The successful candidate will support our Manufacturing Coagulants, Industry & Water segment in East Chicago, IL. Kemira's Industry & Water segment enables our customers to improve their water treatment efficiency by providing value-adding support and high-performing chemicals. In this role you’ll be responsible for : Delivering bulk liquid commodities to customers Loading and unloading tankers Completing delivery paperwork Complying with federal, state, and local regulations in regard to the safe transportation and handling of hazardous materials. What you'll bring to the team : Minimum 3-years of experience driving a tractor-trailer Minimum 3-years of experience transporting bulk chemicals in cargo tank preferred Commercial driver's license with tanker and hazardous materials endorsement required Clean driving record (2.0 points or less) Basic math skills, thorough knowledge of DOT rules and regulations, and a customer service orientation What you can expect from us : A safety-oriented working environment Great opportunities for personal and professional growth. The starting salary range is $35.18/hour , plus performance-based bonuses. The actual starting compensation is based on experience, skills, and business needs. Requirements

  • Minimum 3-years of experience driving a tractor-trailer
  • Minimum 3-years of experience transporting bulk chemicals in cargo tank preferred
  • Commercial driver's license with tanker and hazardous materials endorsement required
  • Clean driving record (2.0 points or less)
  • Basic math skills, thorough knowledge of DOT rules and regulations, and a customer service orientation
