Truck Driver/ Customer Care Specialist

In this role, you'll operate large vans and box trucks while interacting directly with customers for pickups and deliveries of products. Position Overview As a Truck Driver / Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for transporting items to and from customer locations while delivering exceptional service during every interaction. You will help maintain strong customer relationships, ensure accurate handling of inventory and shipments, and support the organization's continued growth by identifying opportunities to better serve our clients.
Requirements
- Experience driving large vans or box trucks
- Experience operating forklifts and motorized pallet jacks
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Ohio Driver's License with 4 points or fewer
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Responsibilities
- Drive company vans and box trucks for scheduled customer pickups and deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with clients
- Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding pickups, deliveries, and service needs
- Prepare shipments for delivery and ensure inventory counts are accurate
- Create sales orders and assist with shipment documentation
- Load and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Coordinate pickup and drop-off schedules with customers
- Maintain an organized and clean loading dock area
- Use basic software tools to track deliveries and manage customer information (training provided)
- Identify opportunities to improve service and support business growth
