About The Position

CXI Trucking, a family-owned and operated company for 30 years, is seeking experienced LTL (Less Than Truckload) CDL Class A Truck Drivers for a dedicated account in Geneva, IL. The company is dedicated to providing on-time service and is looking for drivers with a strong commitment to honesty, integrity, and customer service. Applicants should be able to excel in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and efficiency. This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40-hour paid work week, starting at $33.00/hour, with paid overtime after 40 hours. Drivers will operate a dedicated tractor, start and end their day in Geneva, IL, Monday through Friday, and be home every night and every weekend.

Requirements

Driver must be at least 23 years of age
Must have 2 year of experience driving a commercial vehicle
No more than 1 at-fault (preventable) accident in the last year
Valid CDL with brakes endorsement

Nice To Haves

Clean MVR is a plus

Responsibilities

Operate vehicle safely at all times
Comply with DOT Driver Log, pre-trip and post trip inspections
Label, sign and handle shipments according to DOT regulations and CXI Trucking procedures
Verify loads, equipment, and deliveries are secured prior to transportation
Operational knowledge of a pallet jack, two-wheel hand truck and lift-gate to assist in P & D operation
Ability to lift a minimum of 100lbs. safely
Ability to effectively read maps or utilize a GPS unit
Communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner
