About The Position

Bring on the fruits and veg! As a Driver for our Logistics team, you will work to distribute some of the most interesting, exciting, and fun specialty produce to retailers, food service distributors, and food manufacturers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. It's one of the most important jobs in our company! This fast-paced role is for collaborative, energetic, and upbeat people! What does a JVI Truck Driver do? Your primary focus will be loading and unloading products as well as transporting products to and from our customers’ locations, big and small. You’ll become an expert in handling fresh fruits and vegetables. Our Truck Drivers don’t just transport produce. You’ll also plan delivery schedules and routes to achieve the most efficient and timely delivery of product, review orders and ensure that they are accurate and that quality is up to company standards, as well as follow all driver safety laws while maintaining a clean and safe truck at all times. Maintaining operational logs, assisting with product pickup and order consolidation, and assisting customers with any questions and/or concerns with their orders are also important tasks. Requirements

  • Eligibility to Work in US – You must be eligible to work in the US.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid CDL Class A level license with clean driving record
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Eye for Detail – We need your expertise to ensure orders are delivered timely to our customers and that their orders are complete.
  • Dedication & Motivation – If you love going the extra mile to make customers happy, you’ll do well here.
  • Reliable & Responsible – We need you! Can you show up for your teammates?
  • Excellent communication and time management planning skills – Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with customers and team members.

  • Ability to work independently – Taking initiative, performing tasks with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, and taking ownership.
  • Operate our company’s trucks safely and efficiently – Be in compliance with all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies, in addition to demonstrating excellent driving skills.
